Who is Dusty Bucks?

Dusty Bucks is the alter-ego of award winning comedian and terrible singer, Rick Currie.

Based on the crooning cowboys of the 1940s and 50s, Dusty sings comedy songs about current events and people seem to really enjoy it. 

 

He was born in the early 1990s for an Ottawa community cable TV show, "Cyberpunk Live". The show explored the emerging information highway and Dusty became a repeat guest with songs such as "She Gets Email" and "Nudie Pictures".

 

Over the decades since then, Dusty has made a few appearances in but in the mid 2020's he is back performing more than ever! He's doing a reverse retirement!!
